Elderly Home

Yesterday I visited a private elderly
home.  It was arranged by our parish.  I remember my friends once said ‘It could be
upsetting.’  However it is not true.  The elderly may not talk too much, they may
not be prompt in response, but they are definitely intelligent, counting their
life experiences.  We sang songs and
played games, and in a way, they were even more encouraging than us.  As the party was in full swing, more elderly
joined in.  I couldn’t tell if it was
they who enjoyed our company or the other way round.
